I just made it back from Chicago photographing the 2017 Major League Soccer All Star Game for an amazing publication, Soccerbible. Every year the MLS brings in a top level football club from around the world to take on our all stars. This weekend the MLS All Stars took on the back to back EUFA Champions League winners, Real Madrid. The field was covered with some of the best football players around the world, as they played in front of a sold out crowd at Soldier Field. Despite the uncertainties of the weather, both teams put on a very competitive and entertaining match. Real Madrid went up 1-0 early in the second half, but the MLS All Stars tied things up with a Dom Dwyer goal in the 87th minute. After the final whistle, the two sides finished the memorable night with a penalty kick shootout, which saw Real Madrid as the final winners. All in all, it was incredible night and atmosphere in Chicago. I don't know that I've seen anything quite like it. I'm so happy to share some of my favorite images from the night. Enjoy.
