Since moving to Indianapolis, I've heard so many good things about the Indy Eleven (Indy's professional soccer team). I've been itching to get to a game all summer, and I finally had a weekend free of weddings to check them out. The Indy Eleven fan section, the Brickyard Battalion, created such an incredible atmosphere for my first local game. The night was wild, and the energy around the stadium was definitely contagious. This city is very proud of their team and deservedly so. The Indy Eleven took the New York Cosmos toe to toe, and they ended the evening with a 2-1 victory. Naturally, I brought my camera along for the game and am excited to share some of my favorite images from the night with everyone.
Andrew and Katie are the real deal. I met them both for coffee during the holiday season as they described what their summer wedding will look like this August. They both are finishing up college in Arkansas and have some big future plans, most of which they're already getting a jump on...for example VNTGE (a fashion/clothing line) and A Social Millennial (a social media marketing firm that gives a platform to young entrepreneurs). Needless to say, it's been exciting to get to know them both. On top of their new endeavors, they're just really great people. In the little time that I've known them, it's already been very easy to see how genuine, honest, and compassionate they are. They love each other, and they authentically love the people around them. It's been awesome getting to know these two, and I'm so excited to celebrate with them come August. Andrew and Katie's wedding will be held at a family campground where they both first met, which just seems perfect and fitting for them. And I'm, of course, eagerly counting down the days down along with them. Until then, I thought I'd share some of my favorites from their engagement session to hold us all over until August.
We had a blast exploring downtown Chicago with Keith and Elaine last weekend. Elaine is attending the same graduate program as Bethany, and we've gotten to know both her and Keith pretty well over the past few years. We're so happy and excited for them as they prepare for their upcoming wedding day. It was great to just spend some time hanging out in one of our favorite places for an afternoon and do some exploring. We've been so excited to share these photos with everyone, so we really hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
